Usability Testing – Existing Dashboard

• Confusing language – metrics, line items etc

• Entirely too many steps, feel like this is very time consuming for just needing to print out one report

• Didn’t like that they weren’t actually given any options besides hitting next 

• Didn’t understand the x and check mark symbols under the calendar view or the options to view section

• Multiple steps seemed redundant – could be combined 

• Not clear what “Customer service number” option on step 6 meant 

• Wasn’t clear the difference between selected columns vs selected rows and also table view vs chart view

• Despite being asked if you want to export or save, there is only the option to export

Usability Testing – New Dashboard

Key Findings:

• Loved the simplicity of the design, felt the user flow was easy to follow

• Would prefer to have “customize” button at the top instead of hidden down at the bottom

• Would like the “next” button to be a floating button, he located immediately after the last items on the page instead of all the way down at the bottom

• “Common issues” section is unnecessary, can be removed

• Would like a section to easily locate and view new clients 

• Do not want staff to have access to edit on the staff view, would want it to only be an option for admin/management accounts
