Being an HSP (highly sensitive person) paired with being an empath, I tend to pick up on subtleties that others miss, having the ability to really immerse myself in each interaction. I have a particular interest in accessibility and inclusive design. Having worked in the veterinary field for over a decade, I am drawn to explore opportunities for design in the healthcare and wellness sector.

I came to San Francisco from Texas 13 years ago, following my dream to live in this beautifully weird city. My love for animals and helping others brought me into veterinary medicine, and ultimately lead me to start my own business after seeing a need for specialized in-home pet care. Discovering user experience design and realizing I could continue to help others, but on a large scale, motivated me to do a career change.
